Come join us for this multi-day conference at Portland State University in Portland, OR from July 26 - 28, 2024. This conference is in partnership with the College of Education, Counselor Education Department at Portland State University. The Conference Theme is Movement Building through Connection, Hope, and Healing. VOICES is about: validating our diverse experiences, owning our own narratives, inspiring each other, challenging stereotypes, empowering ourselves, and shaping how we and others understand adoption.

This conference is FREE to our community. There is no registration fee.

Important Update: This will be a BIPOC Adoptee-Only (18+) multi-day event.

More details about the conference:

The conference is for us, by us and BIPOC adoptee-only (18+ years and older). It will include program sessions, support and affinity groups, keynote speakers, an art exhibition, performances, and more. Program sessions are a product of our collective vision and have been curated through feedback from our BIPOC adoptee community. This conference includes a network of support including resources and tangible takeaways. The conference timeline will start Friday, July 26th (afternoon) and run through Sunday, July 28th (afternoon). This conference is not able to provide funding for attendee lodging, transportation, and meals.  A Portland resource guide will be provided, including discounted lodging rates, other activities going on in Portland during this conference, and more.
